Who we are
My name is Glenn Seaton and I am a professionally trained luthier from the University of New Hampshire Violin Institute. I trained with some of the best professional luthiers in the world and I have twenty years of experience in repairing and restoring all types of stringed instruments. Based in Paducah, KY, I am one of the few luthiers in the area that’s been trained to repair and rehair violin bows.
My company, Riverside Strings is a full service musical stringed instrument store that is passionate about providing services for orchestras, school districts, retail stores, and any individual that wants quality repairs on their stringed instrument. We specialize in repairing old violins to a beautiful quality both in sound and appearance, without compromising the instrument’s original look and feel. From a violin over 100 years old to grandma’s worn-down guitar, we fix it all!
